The Tech Zen Master Behind the Solutions
In 2008, Seth Copeland co-founded ZenGroup after nearly two decades in the IT industry working in a variety of capacities. From managing and maintaining call center systems to spearheading organization-wide technology integrations, Seth has worked on projects and systems of all sizes to help you avoid IT problems.
Seth Copeland started his technology career as an IT representative for Ticketmaster Colorado in 1996, deploying and maintaining a proprietary data communications network for the Colorado market along with all national call center systems. Several years later, he moved into a role as an IT Manager at ETM/Dillard’s where he deployed and maintained all aspects of the data communications network for Colorado while developing all processes and procedures to maintain that network. He also provided technical support for all new client sales efforts as a sales engineer.
In 2000, he grew into a Network Design Engineer at Telseon IP Services. During his time there, he developed new architecture to deploy Metro Ethernet services and integrate existing Metro Ethernet with the new dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) system. He also led all technical aspects, including design, deployment, expansion, and field personnel management, for three major urban networks:
He oversaw the management of the 12 to 15 data centers that each of these metro areas relied on. Seth also worked as the engineering lead for the development of new software for circuit configuration and provisioning, soon becoming a Senior Design Engineer when the company merged with OnFiber Networks from 2002 to 2003.
